[one_half padding=”0 20px 0 0″] Last November 17, 2021, Miami Fashion Spotlight, a Miami-based media firm, celebrated its tenth year in the fashion news by launching its first-ever printed “MFS Magazine” at the headquarters of the Miami Symphony Orchestra in the Miami Design District.

The firm decided to go big and build a unique printed magazine for its clients and followers after ten years of success as a fashion web/blog with four awards to show for it. “We wanted to provide our readers a one-of-a-kind experience that connected with our award-winning site Miami Fashion Spotlight, and we wanted to do it in two languages (English and Spanish)”. According to Lissette Rondon-Diaz, editor-in-chief of MFS Magazine and founder of Miami Fashion Spotlight, MFS is giving her readers the advantage of reading any item from their printed magazine to their blog in a longer version, whether it’s from your phone, iPad, or computer.

The glossy cover stars, maestro Eduardo Marturet, Music Director and Conductor of the Miami Symphony Orchestra, and his wife, Athina Marturet, acclaimed model and actress of the Netflix series “El Señor de los Cielos,” walked the carpet of mirrors with other significant figures of our city. The renowned couple, who were both dressed in TA Couture, were delighted to sign copies for all of the guests, stamping their mark on the massive cover, ushering in a new era for this bilingual fashion magazine, which promises to be a spectacular visual adventure with unique content. “We are ecstatic to be included on the cover of this creative publication, which we hope will last a long time.” “We’ve followed Lissette’s career from the beginning and congratulate her on this new milestone,” Eduardo Marturet added.

Miami Fashion Spotlight Celebró Décimo Aniversario con el Lanzamiento de su Primera Revista Impresa “MFS Magazine”: Un Soirée de Moda, Música y Fundraising

 Miami Fashion Spotlight celebró su décimo aniversario en los medios de comunicación (fashion news) con el lanzamiento de su primera revista impresa “MFS Magazine” en las instalaciones de la Orquesta Sinfónica de Miami en el Miami Design District, el pasado noviembre 17 del 2021.

Después de diez años de éxito como web/blog de moda con cuatro galardones que lo prueban, la firma decidió ir a lo grande y diseñar una revista impresa única para sus clientes y seguidores. “Para nuestro aniversario quisimos brindarles a los lectores una experiencia única, en dos idiomas (inglés y español) que conectara con nuestro galardonado blog Miami Fashion Spotlight.Org, a través de un código QR, brindándoles la ventaja de continuar leyendo cualquier artículo de nuestra revista en nuestro blog en una versión más larga, ya sea desde su teléfono, iPad o computadora, dijo Lissette Rondon-Diaz, directora de editoriales de MFS Magazine y fundadora de Miami Fashion Spotlight.

La celebración contó con la presencia de las estrellas de portada, el maestro Eduardo Marturet, director y conductor de la Orquesta Sinfónica de Miami, y su esposa, Athina Marturet, celebrada modelo y actriz de la serie de Netflix “El Señor de los Cielos” quienes caminaron la alfombra de espejos del evento junto a otras personalidades influyentes de nuestra ciudad. La icónica pareja se mostró complacida de firmar ejemplares a todos los invitados, estampando la firma de ambos en la portada gigante; marcando el comienzo de una nueva era para esta revista de moda bilingüe que promete ser una gran aventura visual y de contenido único. “Nos sentimos muy complacidos por estar en la primera portada de este proyecto innovador al que auguramos larga vida. Observamos a Lissette desde sus comienzos y la aplaudimos por este nuevo paso en su carrera,” agregó Eduardo Marturet.

Fashion Show by TA Couture, Miami Symphony and MFS Magazine

The fashion presentation by TA Couture, a 25-year-old fashion brand founded by Tammy Apostol, an American designer with Venezuelan ancestry and regional director of the South Florida Fashion Group International, was one of the night’s highlights. The talented designer debuted her sustainable collection for fall-winter 2021, while musicians from the Miami Symphony Orchestra performed live, alongside celebrated maestro Eduardo Marturet, who opened the show on the piano, accompanied by singer-songwriter May Kravitz, who wowed the audience with a sublime rendition of her song “Courageous.”

Among the models who walked the runway were: renowned model and influencer Caroline Derpienski; model and DJ Alma Delgado; Silvana Camargo, host of the Youtube program “Con Estilo TV”; model Sugey Munoz (from Mariela Centeno Agency); model and actress Dayana Mora; “Mrs. USA South Universe 2021”, Yulia Kapranova; and the cover star, model, and actress Athina Marturet

Lissette Rondon-Diaz, the Editorial Director of MFS Magazine, and her husband, Brand Strategist Frank E Diaz, were in charge of bringing the interesting performance to a close. They introduced this first edition of MFS Magazine with the traditional and symbolic Champagne ceremony.

The event, which was by invitation only, drew over 250 tastemakers and was sponsored by Harry Blu’s, a new world gin distilled in Miami that recently won the “Consumer Choice Awards 2021.”

Among the other notable sponsors were “Carrano Shoes,” which showcased the latest trends for 2022; prestigious stylist Oscar Romero (Oscar International); renowned Master Colorist Jenna Levine (Headmaster Salon); luxury decoration and events company, “Maguee Design Events,” the brand “Alma Fashion,” the company, “Maryann Designs Flowers,” the YouTube channel “Con Estilo TV,” which broadcast the entire event, and the company that created MFS Magazine’s, “Sergio Jaua Brand Design.”

The MISO was the beneficiary of this spectacular fashion and music event. A night to remember that left everyone wanting more fashion and music events like this one, as well as anticipating the publication of the magazine’s next edition in the summer of 2022.

Desfile de moda de TA Couture, Miami Symphony y el Lanzamiento de MFS

El desfile de modas de TA Couture–una casa de modas con 25 años en el mercado, fundada por Tammy Apostol, diseñadora estadounidense con raices venezolanas, directora regional del ‘South Florida International Fashion Group’– fue uno de los aspectos más destacados de la noche. La talentosa diseñadora debutó su colección sostenible para el otoño-invierno 2021, mientras músicos de la Orquesta Sinfónica de Miami tocaron en vivo, junto al célebre maestro Eduardo Marturet, quien abrió el espectáculo tocando el piano, acompañado por la cantautora May Kravitz, quien cautivó a la audiencia con una interpretación sublime de su canción “Courageous”.

Entre las modelos que caminaron la pasarela se encontraron: la reconocida modelo e influencer, Caroline Derpienski; la modelo y DJ Alma Delgado; Silvana Camargo, conductora del programa de Youtube “Con Estilo TV”; la modelo Sugey Muñoz (de la Agencia Mariela Centeno); la modelo y actriz Dayana Mora; “Mrs. USA South Universe 2021″, Yulia Kapranova; y la estrella de la portada de MFS Magazine, la modelo y actriz Athina Marturet.

Lissette Rondon-Diaz, directora editorial de MFS Magazine, y su esposo, el estratega de la marca, Frank E Diaz, fueron los encargados de cerrar el show con la presentación de la primera edición de MFS Magazine con la tradicional y simbólica ceremonia de Champagne, al que se les unió el estilista de las estrellas, Oscar Romero.

El evento, que fue solo por invitación y atrajo a más de 250 creadores de tendencias fue patrocinado por Harry Blu’s, una ginebra del nuevo mundo, destilada en Miami y que recientemente ganó el galardón “Consumer Choice Awards 2021”.

El evento sirvió además para recoger fondos para la Miami Symphony . Una noche para recordar que dejó a todos con ganas de más eventos de moda y música como este, además de crear desde ya la anticipación por la próxima edición de la revista, que será el próximo verano del 2022.
