Philanthropist, Kimberly Shenker-Bacardi celebrated her birthday raising funds for “Food for the Poor Organization.” The fabulous celebration took place at “Briza on the Bay” located at the Double Tree Grand Hotel in North Bay Shore Drive in Miami, on August 25th, 2012.

Kimberly Shenker-Bacardi has been recognized for her committed endeavors through “Kim’s Good Karma Group,” from which proceeds benefit “Food for the Poor.” Kim took the opportunity this time to honor the dedication of six of Miami’s most charitable business women.

Among the honorees were: Adriana de Moura (Star of “Real Housewives of Miami”), Jowharah Sanders (Founder of Anti-Bullying Organization), Erin Mia Milchman (Haute in the City Events), Zurami Pascual (Owner of Boca Tanning Brickell), Monica Puig (Latin Business Club of America) and Norma Estrada (Public Relations & Promotions).

The charming evening counted on the support of a very special group of socialites and media—people who came to support Kim’s cause, showing the philanthropic spirit to help others in need, despite the hurricane warning that was in effect!

Guests were pampered all night long with signature drinks and delicious food. The raising of funds included great auction items such as: dinners for two, certificates of service, art by Romero Brito, hotel stays, and a couture design by Viviana G, among others.

Kim closed the night with an amazing birthday cake design by Ana Paz.
