Gucci, the epitome of Italian luxury, unveils its latest collection—Gucci Lido, a homage to the enchanting allure of coastal living that graces Italy’s storied coastlines. This collection encapsulates the essence of an Italian summer, celebrating sun-kissed days, salty breezes, and the vibrant spirit of the season.
A Blend of Luxury and Comfort
The Gucci Lido collection, conceptualized by Creative Director Sabato De Sarno and captured through the lens of Anthony Seklaoui, offers a range of timeless pieces that blend luxury with comfort. From sophisticated swimwear to resort wear, each garment embodies a laid-back charm, perfect for embracing the spontaneity and joy synonymous with summer.
The collection’s highlights include novel renditions of Gucci’s signature handbag lines. The iconic Gucci Jackie and GG Marmont bags are reimagined in straw effect raffia and canvas variations, exuding a relaxed elegance that complements the summer aesthetic. Additionally, colorful GG canvas accessories like the Gucci Luce and Moon Side bags add a playful touch, while neon details on accessories provide a modern twist to classic motifs.
Immersive Gucci Lido Experience
As part of the Gucci Lido experience, the House will set up in-store pop-ups in renowned resort destinations worldwide. Locations such as Porto Cervo, Capri, the Hamptons, and Saint-Tropez will serve as perfect backdrops to showcase the vibrant pieces in the collection. Travelers visiting these destinations can immerse themselves in the world of Gucci Lido, discovering exclusive pieces and experiencing the House’s signature luxury firsthand.
Private Retreat at Hotel Il Pellicano
To culminate the Gucci Lido experience, the House will host a private event at Hotel Il Pellicano, an exclusive retreat nestled on the Tuscan coast. From May 24 to May 26, guests will enjoy a curated getaway celebrating the art of Italian hospitality and the beauty of the Mediterranean. This event promises to be a fusion of luxury, style, and the quintessential Italian summer experience.
