Gerry Kelly, ‘The King of Miami Nightlife’ celebrated his “Royal Birthday X-Travaganza” on Saturday June 23, 2012 at Trio on the Bay, located at 1601 79th Street Causeway.
For this special occasion, the main room of Trio on the Bay was decorated in majestic red and gold colors, in addition to a magnificent red carpet with two giant royal soldiers that took everyone’s breath away.
“The King” was awaited by media, models, celebrities, editors, Miami’s socialites, and friends who wanted to welcome “your highness” and score him to his court. During the big celebration renowned choreographer and producer, Pamela Canellas, presented non-stop bevy shows with the royal touch of “pomp and circumstance,” meanwhile DJ Nyx played studio 54 classics inside and DJ Smiley was in charge of the patio.
“Last dance” by Donna Summer was played instead of the classic birthday song, along with fabulous shows that brought the beloved king, Gerry Kelly into the middle of the room where he was able to receive all the birthday wishes by his guests and friends.
Some of the guests were wearing Gerry Kelly Couture gowns designed by Gerry Kelly himself, including our Founder and President, Lissette Rondon.
80’s Costumes, walking lamps, princess, queens, cat women, platforms shoes and more… were part of the outfits at this stunning celebration making this Royal Birthday X-Travaganza a night to remember!
