Miami’s own handbag designer, Candy Woolley celebrated her birthday bash on June 22, 2012 at the Restaurant & Lounge “Kitchen 305” located in the Newport Beachside Hotel & Resort at 16701 Collins Avenue in North Miami Beach.
The fabulous bash celebrated the designer’s birthday, along with local writer Belinda Elkaim, author of “Seeking Mr. X,” which has inspired a movie version of the book.
Woolley surprised all the guests with an amazing fashion show called “Feline Fling,” which featured models wearing black cat suits with leopard inspired makeup by HiTech Paul Mitchell, showcasing her latest handbag collection in addition to her jewelry line that highlighted many leather cuffs.
“We wanted to have a party but we wanted to entertain the guests with a fashion show,” said Woolley. “Some pieces worn in “Feline Fling” tonight, are from my private collection that I made in earlier years when I first began my business back in 2003.”
The fashion hit of the night was given by the guests– in order to honor the designer’s birthday all of them were carrying Candy Woolley’s handbags, even our Founder and President, Lissette Rondon.
Ladies had the time of their lives in an evening full of fashion, signature drinks, and a delicious sit-down dinner.
Happy Birthday Candy, Miami loves you!
