]]>50 is a big number in this society these days, but when I see this woman in the mirror, I only see a soul full of life + experience.
Aging makes me feel proud of myself and all my accomplishments, and I dare say getting old is a privilege; many people don’t live so long these days. The experience you get through the years is the best part of the process, just priceless!
Is age just a number?
What can I say about the number? Is age just a number? I will continue to say that numbers don’t define our age. We define the number by the way we live our lives and the happiness we breath every day. There are very old 25 girls for the way they live their lives, and there are young 50’s ladies, like some of us, simply because we enjoy every moment. In other words, we make things happens. We always go for it no matter what. We don’t give up on life!
My Birthday Party
Recently, I had the pleasure of celebrating my 50th birthday with my husband, my family, my in-laws, my best friends forever, and some of my beloved colleagues, and we had fun!
I chose the theme “Sex and the City”, and I loved to see all my fashionista guests dressed as their favorite character of the movie or the series.
Thank you to all the Carrie, Samantha, Charlotte and Mirandas that came to my birthday and My Mr. Big, yes, my handsome husband! ]]>On June 20th 2015, renowned socialite Jonathan Torres celebrated his 35th birthday with an Angels & Demons Birthday Bash Event. The party was hosted at the stylish and exclusive Drawing Room Bar and Lounge at Shelborne Wyndham Grand, located in the heart of South Beach.
The chic bar was decorated in warm sepia tones. When guests arrived they actually felt like they were walking into an old movie! Guests were also pampered with an exquisite menu consisting of Spanish inspired tapas, enhanced by Chef’s miniature desserts, catered by celebrity Iron Chef Morimoto along with an open bar sponsored by Toast Vodka.

El 20 de junio del 2015, el muy conocido socialité Jonathan Torres celebró su cumpleaños número 35 con con una fiesta de cumpleaños de Ángeles y Demonios. La fiesta tuvo lugar en el elegante bar “Drawing Room and Lounge” en el hotel ‘Shelborne Wyndham Grand’, ubicado en South Beach.
El elegante bar estuvo decorado en tonos sepia cálidos para hacer sentir a los invitados como si estuvieran en una película de los viejos tiempos–además fueron consentidos con un exquisito menú de tapas españolas, realzadas por los postres en miniatura del chef Morimoto junto a un open- bar patrocinado por Toast vodka.
Albert Trummer (owner of the Drawing Room) completed the party-like atmosphere as he “performed” his fire and ice cocktail, which involves flames, dry ice smoke, and a pyramid of champagne flutes, ending in a huge celebration with a birthday cake where everyone sang the traditional song, “Happy Birthday.” Jonathan Torres is well known in our Miami community for his work in public relations and for being a philanthropist that supports many charity causes. His work with local and national publications has been an important key in motivating others to action, becoming one of the best PR representatives in our city–currently, he is working as Marketing Manager at Shelborne Whyndham Grand South Beach.

Albert Trummer (Dueño del Drawing Room) completó el ambiente de la fiesta, haciendo su demostración del cóctel hielo y fuego ( con fuego, humo de hielo seco y una pirámide de copas de champán) terminando el show con el pastel de cumpleaños; para todos juntos cantar el tradicional “cumpleaños feliz”. Torres es bien conocido en Miami por su trabajo en las relaciones públicas y por ser un filántropo que apoya muchas causas benéficas. Su trabajo con publicaciones locales y nacionales ha sido una clave importante para motivar a otros. Actualmente se desempeña como Gerente de Mercadeo de Shelborne Whyndham Gran South Beach.
