]]>Miami Art Week opened with a captivating display of artistry as Fademy unveiled its Art Basel Edition at LunaSol Wynwood, transforming the dynamic venue into a runway infused with glamour, creativity, and cultural expression. As an agency committed to elevating, dignifying, and professionalizing modeling and the arts, Fademy has become a driving force within Miami’s creative landscape—offering structured training, real opportunities, and a platform for both emerging and established talent.
This year’s edition highlighted a message that resonates deeply across the fashion world: “This is my dream job.” For Fademy, this theme served as a powerful reminder that the fashion industry is built on the labor, discipline, and passion of countless professionals working behind the scenes.
“Our goal for this Art Basel Edition is to highlight something essential: everyone in our industry works. Every person involved dedicates real effort, time, and discipline to bring visions to life. We celebrate that art is work—and it deserves to be valued and respected as such. This is our moment to remind the world that behind every beautiful creation, there is a team of people who deserve recognition, dignity, and respect for their labor,” shared Faddya Halabi and José JONAV Navarro, founders of Fademy Fashion Week.
The night brought together designers, creators, and fashion insiders for a celebration of Miami’s rich and evolving fashion identity. From architectural tailoring to couture fantasy, each designer offered a distinctive perspective, making the event one of the standout fashion moments of the season.
Miami Fashion Spotlight was exclusively invited, with Editor-in-Chief Lissette Rondon attending as a VIP guest wearing a couture creation by Samy Gicherman.
The evening opened with the refined sensibility of Otayma Zerpa, whose designs blended architectural lines with sensual fluidity. Her collection showcased sharp tailoring, strategic cutouts, metallic accents, and soft draping—each look a statement of empowered femininity. Zerpa set a sophisticated tone that resonated throughout the night.

Gussy López brought a refreshing sense of joy and imagination to the runway. Her show opened with charming childrenswear—pastel A-line dresses embellished with oversized hearts, flowers, stars, and geometric motifs. The playful designs contrasted beautifully with clean, contemporary silhouettes.
Her adult line showcased architectural refinement through sculptural tops, structured shorts, and kimono-inspired layers in olive, blush, and navy. Contrasting belts and layered panels highlighted her skillful approach to merging minimalism with artistic flair. Her finale, featuring child and adult models walking together, became an emotional celebration of creativity, connection, and fashion as storytelling.

Renowned couturier Samy Gicherman delivered one of the night’s most memorable moments, opening with an unexpected yet captivating exploration: his Jeans Embroidery Collection. Though denim served only as a creative prelude, the intricate beadwork, sculptural appliqués, and refined tailoring set the tone for the true highlight of the evening—his mastery of haute couture.
As the runway transitioned to eveningwear, Gicherman unveiled a series of breathtaking gowns that instantly captivated the audience. A radiant fuchsia gown with a crystal-encrusted bodice shimmered under the lights, while a striking black halter gown adorned with dimensional floral appliqués showcased his flair for high-drama elegance. Lavender gemstone details, nude sculptural florals, and ethereal silhouettes further enhanced the sense of enchantment and sophistication.
For the finale, Gicherman introduced a modern bridal couture jumpsuit paired with a regal, exquisitely embroidered cape. When the designer walked hand in hand with his muse, the room erupted into applause, celebrating his soon-to-be 50-year legacy of innovation, craftsmanship, and timeless couture.

Designer Gio Isaza captivated the audience with an expressive and modern interpretation of menswear. His opening charcoal double-breasted suit showcased sharp tailoring and understated power.
Unexpected color pairings—like wine and blush—introduced a fresh, contemporary mood. A standout camel coat with a floral satin lining, paired with leather trousers and an open white shirt, delivered sensual sophistication. His check-pattern suits and long, earth-toned coats demonstrated how menswear can be both refined and boldly artistic. Isaza’s appearance on the runway earned enthusiastic applause, underscoring his growing influence in luxury menswear.

Closing the evening, designers Daniel Fábregas and Omar Sanz delivered a finale infused with luxury, seduction, and red-carpet brilliance. Their opening ombré gown—shifting from fuchsia to white—shimmered with thousands of sequins and sculpted the body with a dramatic mermaid silhouette.
A crystalline blue gown followed, featuring delicate sheer elements, floral appliqués, and fluid movement. The mood darkened into bold sophistication with a black couture gown showcasing a structured bustier and cascading feathered skirt.
A sculptural two-piece black ensemble embellished with three-dimensional crystal florals highlighted their architectural precision. The finale—a majestic white bridal gown combining lace, satin, and couture volume—left the audience breathless.
Fábregas and Sanz stepped onto the runway amid flowers and applause, marking a triumphant conclusion to an extraordinary evening.

Fademy’s Art Basel Edition offered far more than a runway—it became a celebration of artistic excellence and creative identity. From denim couture to architectural minimalism, from innovative menswear to red-carpet fantasy, the evening demonstrated the many ways in which fashion continues to evolve.
With its fusion of artistry, cultural depth, and couture innovation, Fademy reaffirmed Miami’s position as a rising global fashion capital—one where creativity is not only celebrated but continually redefined.

]]>The post Un espectáculo sin precedentes Domingo Zapata junto a Nicky Jam e Isabel Guarch en New York Fashion Week appeared first on Miami Fashion Spotlight.

¡Imparable Domingo Zapata!
