Miami Fashion Week: What does it take to win the Eastern Air Lines Flight Attendant Competition?

By Lissette Rondon
Miami Fashion Week is here again and this year Eastern Air Lines, a major airline based in Miami, announced that it plans to re-launch services from the Miami International Airport, becoming the official sponsor of Miami Fashion Week.

In the spirit of fashion, they created a contest inviting local designers to design the company’s new flight attendant uniforms, choosing just five finalists that will present their designs at the EAL showcase at Miami Fashion Week on May 15th-18th where a panel of judges will determine who will land a contract with EAL.

Among the designers, finalists were: Lisu Vega, Vivana G., Samy Gicherman, Kayce Armstrong and Julian Chang. Miami Fashion Spotlight got an exclusive interview with each of them, where they talked about their proposals, inspirations, futuristic designs and more.

Lets have our readers judge and decide who they think has what it takes to be the winner.

(We wanted to be fair so we asked the same 9 questions to each designer just to make it easier for our readers to compare answers and pick their favorite).
